Part 1 The force condition of the solenoid valve iron core

The solenoid valve is also a system, consisting of three paths: the electrical circuit, the magnetic circuit, and the gas/liquid path. When developing a solenoid valve, first consider each subsystem comprehensively and conduct system calculations. The force conditions are as shown in the figure.  

The function of the solenoid valve needs to satisfy two extreme working conditions: sealing and opening. The magnitudes of the spring elastic force and the electromagnetic force need to be calculated respectively to enable the iron core to meet the states of sealing and opening.  

The method for the system calculation of the solenoid valve to obtain the initial valve hole, the minimum air gap, the minimum spring force and the minimum necessary electromagnetic force will be updated in the subsequent articles. Welcome to bookmark and let's discuss and study together.
