Types, Advantages and Structural Processing Technology of Plastic Solenoid Valves
Plastic solenoid valves are widely used in the industries that transfer inflammable and explosive media or are specifically used in places with combustible hazards due to their excellent advantages such as good chemical and corrosion resistance, electrical insulation, flame retardancy, light weight, high strength, and easy production and processing.
The advantage of plastic solenoid valves lies in that after chlorination of the PVC resin, the irregularity of the molecular bonds increases, the polarity increases, the solubility of the resin increases, and the chemical industry reliability increases, thereby improving the heat resistance, acid resistance, alkali resistance, salt resistance, and corrosion resistance to oxidants, etc. of the plastic solenoid valve; the applicable temperature can reach 110°C, and the long-term use temperature is 95°C; therefore, the plastic solenoid valve is a new type of engineering plastic solenoid valve with broad application prospects.
Types of plastic solenoid valves:
Plastic solenoid valves are divided into: explosion-proof and non-explosion-proof, and the connection sizes include flanges, bonding, threads, etc. The temperature of the fluid: ≤50°C, ≤180°C, and the diameter: DN1.2-DN80. The threaded anti-corrosion solenoid valve is made of engineering plastics PVC, CPVC, UPVC, ABS or PTFE. The sealing parts are suitable for domestic water, all kinds of untreated wastewater, rainwater, seawater, and all kinds of acid-base salt solutions, organic solvents, etc. The fluid is separated from the metal for anti-corrosion; there is no vulnerable diaphragm; zero leakage; large flow rate; the oversized pilot hole prevents clogging by particle impurities.
Structural processing technology of plastic solenoid valves:
1. The corrosive fluid is completely separated from the metal parts (moving iron core, spring), that is, the fluid only contacts CPVC, PTFE, and sealing parts, achieving true corrosion resistance in structure;
2. The embedded sealing structure has more reliable sealing performance.
3. The diameter of the pilot hole is extremely large, and the path is short and straight, and it is not easily clogged by fine particles, precipitated impurities or crystal substances in the fluid (such as sediment in water, crystal salts in brine, etc.);
4. Its unique product structure design uses a piston instead of a diaphragm, and the service life of the plastic solenoid valve is greatly increased.
