INVACARE oxygen concentrators are developed and produced by Invacare Corporation and are mainly used for oxygen therapy and health care oxygen production in medical institutions and households. This oxygen concentrator adopts the physical oxygen production principle, and through the pressure swing adsorption of molecular sieves, separates oxygen and nitrogen from the air directly at room temperature, extracts high-purity medical oxygen, and realizes continuous and uninterrupted oxygen supply. INVACARE oxygen concentrators can operate continuously and uninterruptedly for 24 hours a day for 3 years, and its market share in Europe and the United States is as high as over 70%. The production standards of INVACARE oxygen concentrators are higher than the international industry standards.

Due to business adjustments, INVACARE decided to replace some of the original accessories with domestic ones, which was exactly the opportunity for us to get involved. After receiving the order, we immediately organized the R & D team to start the work.


At the beginning of the R & D, many problems were faced. For example, the INVACARE factory had extremely high performance requirements for the circuit board, which needed to achieve complex functions in a very small space, while also ensuring good heat dissipation and anti-interference capabilities. In terms of the solenoid valve, the requirements for the accuracy and response speed of the valve core were almost harsh.


Take the heat dissipation problem of the circuit board as an example. We tried various solutions, from changing the layout of the circuit board to selecting special heat dissipation materials. After countless tests and optimizations, we finally found a relatively ideal solution.


In terms of improving the accuracy of the valve core of the solenoid valve, we communicated repeatedly with the processing manufacturer and continuously adjusted the process parameters, and finally achieved a significant improvement in accuracy.


During the entire R & D process, teamwork was crucial. From circuit design engineers to mechanical engineers to test personnel, everyone played their professional advantages and jointly overcame one difficulty after another.
